Armenian pig slaughter, teaching English in Seoul, 24hr train to Cape Town

I am very excited to have my first three trip requests officially added to the TO-DO list!

Zaven from North Hollywood, CA - Requested I visit the capitol of Armenia for some sightseeing, and later meet with his relatives to FULLY participate in slaughtering a pig in the backyard, grub on some fresh cooked pork and knock back homemade vodka…
I have never had to kill a live animal before (lobsters don’t count right?), and as a city kid who doesn’t deal with confronting meat before its packaged or cooked; I truly look forward to this experience. Apparently i’ll have to do it straight executioner style with an axe to the head…Excuse me I just puked in my mouth a little. Yep, can’t wait!

Emily from Boston, MA – Emily, a recent graduate of Boston University will be teaching an elementary school English classroom in Seoul, South Korea. I’ll be visiting her to be teachers assistant for a day…I’m warning you Emily, sometimes my English sounds Korean.
On a side note: I’ve read it is possible to visit the North/South Korean border with American military assistants, a place Bill Clinton called “The scariest place on Earth”. If anyone has some more info about this, let me know and put it in trip request form for consideration…

Anna from Hollywood, CA – Has always dreamed of taking the 24 hour train ride from Johannesburg to Cape Town in South Africa. I’ll be doing some vicarious traveling for you and promise to bring you great live footage and photos to make you feel right there with me :-)

Thanks to Zaven, Anna, and Emily for the blog comments, I can’t wait! To add your own trip request, click here
