Officious Guidelines & Rules:
- - Submit your idea, a list of ideas, a full itinerary, if you freaking want to, by simply commenting to this blog below…
- - All entries due by July 27th, 2009 . The episode will be filmed on July 31st. (There are always tons of free events around New York…Check out websites like Freenyc.com, Myopenbar.com, NYCgo.com for for ideas on any possible events around town that day!).
- - I will not take on anything that is…well, completely “illegal”.
Selections will be based on creativity… I’m looking for sites of interest, an adventure, people to meet, a possible challenge, an event to attend, where or how I eat, etc…Whatever sounds entertaining for the purpose of creating an interesting episode will be chosen.
The winner gets no money or prizes of any monetary value. Nothing, nada, zippo…You will however get creative control of my life, air time for your idea, your name credited to the episode, and the reassurance that you too can have fun when times get tough.

Ok so here is mine….
Take the train to Penn Station, skateboard to Jersey from there and try to sneak in to the All Points West Beastie Boys concert on July 31st. Use the $5 as leverage or tip to get yourself in and the gum to freshen your breath after how sleezy you feel negotiating such ludicrous deals. I know you can do it. Hulie Mulie

How about have the fun filled feeling of giving back, esp. to such a wonderful city. Everyday from now til the episode airs, collect one can food item from everyone at the hostel and for that matter everyone you know. Everyday try and receive a contribution. As everyone knows it can be tough growing up in NYC therefore, for the day take the single metro card ride to a NYC food drive and drop off all the canned good that’s you have collected over the last couple of weeks. From there skate around the city and donate your two pieces of gum, and keep one for yourself! Come on you deserve it! After that, skate down to pier 40 and enjoy a free kayak ride, and reflect on the good deed you did for the day! You will feel like a million bucks!! This will only take couple of hours out of your day, so you got the whole rest of your day for yourself! But at least you made a change in life for others! Hehe Can you tell I am a social worker? Lastly, you still have your 5$ smackaroos left!! So go grab a beer!
